Wow, nice quality handmade copper Spizzichino kit! I wouldn't be suprised if this puppy shows up at the Chicago drum show this year because it's kinda local.
Check it out, it has videos also.
Excellent drum kit. I wish I could buy it!
Wow! As much as I hate to say this; I don't like it. I don't know if it was the sound quality on the video or what, but to me the toms sounded like a couple of timbales and the bass had no "oomph". I really dig the snare and the cymbals, though.
Collector's kit? Absolutely...and a beautiful one at that!

I absolutlely agree with you as for a rare collector kit only. Like a fine piece of art you can look at but at least you could play these. The 24" ride cymbal would be another $1200+, I'm sure.
I really like the sound of those drums!
How much is a Spizzichino drumset worth valuewise???

Agreed on both points.
I played a Spizz kit in a quiet setting where I could hear what they sound like, and found them very midrangey and suited for jazz, maybe Latin. I didn't play with the tuning, but I could tell that the drums weren't going to breathe, or move air, or ever possess any oomph. Maybe they're not supposed to?
I would never play the kit, but I'd love to own it! :)
