Hello all. My grandfather was a jazz musician, and he was in a band. The drummer had a 1960's rogers holiday. When he bought a new one, my dad received the drums. He put them in storage up until a few years ago where I got possession of them. There are a few things wrong with them. First, they are missing the bass drum hoop and the hi tom hoop, and I was wondering where, if at all, I could find new hoops? Also, the tom mounts are old and rusted and was wondering if I should put new ones on?

search eBay. You're sure to find what you need there. Post a picture.

Wow! With you knowing the original owner and so few parts missing, those drums are probally worth a lot. Only buy rogers hoops, the Rogers ones are very differnt from others and make the drums sound a lot better. Much more of a "rogers" sound. I guess thats what there supposed to do...

Sounds Ace, I have a set of Dayton Holidays & they are my favorites.
Whatever you do don't fit new tom mounts or modify the drums in any way (drill holes etc.)this will devalue/deface them. Find another swivo tom mount on ebay or clean up the one you have, this site has a Tips section to help you do this.
