I have mahogany Premier Olympic kit from the early 70s. (1971) At this time the Premier was use mahogany. And later use again birch. Your drums was made maybe this transient months, and mixed the plys. (Sorry my wrong english)

Beautiful drums!! Thanks for sharing! Premier are definitely my weak spot and actually somewhat affordable when you can find the nice ones. These Beverleys rock!
