15 1/4" 835 grams stamped MEDIUM THIN FAST.

EDIT: This is a late 50's Zildjian posted incorrectly. NOT a pre trans stamp.

Nice collection Mike. As you know I've been working on the timeline of ink stamps so your 15" is of particular interest. The trademark fits the late 50s Small Stamp era so quite a bit later than Pre Trans. Unless that's a different stamp photo mixed in there?

Yours seems to say MEDIUM THIN FAST but not have CRASH ink on it. Am I just not seeing the CRASH ink in the photo? I know I've got some where the ink is so faded I can't photograph it.

Not having CRASH would fit with the evidence I've got so far as the CRASH ink stamp and the CRASH model doesn't go back into the 1950s. Of course one might turn up, but out of hundreds of cymbals with ink so far no CRASH ink from back then. Yes nice thin cymbals which crash well, but no CRASH ink.

So if anybody has CRASH ink on a cymbal from before 1960, please do let me know.

Thanks to everybody for all the pretty pictures so far.

Steve

Sorry for the mix up. I posted these in a hurry yesterday as I've been busier than usual. Let me see what i can find and get that one straightened out. Thanks for catching it.

Just checked my records and it is stamped MEDIUM THIN FAST. I also have it recorded as a SSA. I had it listed in my inventory as a crash but it is not ink stamped as such. Sorry for the confusion.
