Now this could be a marriage breaker... last words, "Honey I need the minivan to pick up a couple more drums I bought on ebay."

Looks like some treasures in there and I live close enough to Cincy to make a couple trips?

I am thinking that is one huge pile of firewood. I would bet ten bucks there isnt a nice piece in that whole lot. And very little in the way of hardware worth the price of some Mothers polish.

Nice Ploughman... I think you talked me out of it!!

I emailed the seller to see if he would let me take a look a this stuff. In the picture I count about 30 shells, 8 cymbals, maybe 9 pedals, 10 stands, and say 40 hoops.

I'd say on average you could get 3 bucks a piece, again just as an average per piece.

So you go much over $200 and you risk not even making back the gas money... sound close??

Glad to be the harbringer of good tidings to you. That is not a Big R Dynasonic. What it is............. would be an Island Music import drum with the squarish Big R label that does not say ROGERS USA. It also has the two bands of lines around the drum........above and below centerline, ala one of Tamas cheap steel shells from the late 80s. And that my friend spells POS. Hope you havent bid hoping for a Diamond D under all that charcoal.

I understand on any given day you need to make your own judgements about what you bid on and what you buy. I could be wrong. His pics hugely suck. And that..........that very suckiness in the pics makes me believe this guy is a total sheister. But knock yourselves out. You bid this one, yer gonna get screwed, and pay 500 bucks to ship a load of manure.
