Vintage ads from Downbeat, MD, and others work great for this. I have 3 from 1961 that feature Buddy on the New Rogers Dynasonic (released that very year).

I've been collecting autographs and autographed pic's of the greats since I was a kid in the early 60's. I had some cut autographs from Buddy Rich, Count Basie etc that I wanted to display w/ photo's. I 'Googled' under "images", the names of the artist I was looking for and was able to print some beautiful pic's. I used to also cut out MD Mag photo's (especially covers), mailed them to MD and they would forward them to the artist. I received back many nice autographed pics from Max Roach, Papa Jo Jones, Shelly Man, Cobham, Jeff Porcoro, Andy Newmark, Vinny, Tony Wms, Elvin etc. I've tried doing it recently but MD returned the mailings saying, "NO Forwarding address:.
