It was my cousin's... He bought it after getting out of Vietnam... Brought it back from Japan... It's in good shape and I enjoy playing it... I put natural skins on it and it has a real nice sound...
Just picked up an absolute cherry set of Presidents on Sunday... They are in perfect condition... Came with hard cases and Avedis Zildjians (a 20' medium "Dance" ride; an 18' medium "Dance" crash-ride and a set of 14" hi-hats)... Bought everything for $200.00... I think they are '69, but I don't know for sure--- They are the brown fiberglass/wood? shells with the "coffin" lugs... 22 inch bass; champagne-gold sparkle wrap... and the snare is literally the best I've evr played.
daddio, please post some pix.
seamus, really cool set. Gotta love that wrap.
would that 10 lug bass drum point to it being a President?
Very nice kit!
