hi all! just bagged a cob pearl jupiter on ebay and its a fantastic piece of kit,has anyone else had any experience with these fantastic drums?

If you could, post a pic of your drum. I have an 70s era Pearl snare, but I'm not sure if it's a Jupiter or COB (were all the Jupiters COB shells?) Either way, it is a heavy, great sounding drum.

There are a few people on here that know all about them,I heard Stewart Copeland used one with the police with a die cast batter hoop.From everything I have heard they are terrific drums and an outstanding value for what you can buy them for.

Yes, would also love to see a pic. They are great drums- very heavy to carry around but an awesome sound.

hi all! i will try to get one on here,ive not had much success so far,it really is a beautiful drum,the only fault i can find is that it weighs a ton!
