Lovely! Nice find.

Very nice lookin' set indeed! I actually just came across the same snare drum you have in your set Eric. Question: does your gold sparkle wrap have some specks of black in it as well? The snare I have has them and I was wondering if that is original wrap or a rewrap. Thanks and enjoy playing your kit!
I'm pretty certain the kit is all original, no rewraps. When I changed the batter
on the snare, I can see some fade from the darker sparkle under the hoops.
There is a little bit of dark specks but not black, maybe grey. :)
Are the badges the same on all the drums? Looks like the rack tom is an "orphan"! The BD, floor and snare I can see have the Olympic lugs from the 70s along with the USA only badge, but the rack tom has Premier 440 lugs and I can't see the badge.
Still a very cool kit and looks to be in superb condition.

Awesome kit, man!
I like the gold colour, I don't see this colour around much anymore.
The snare looks really nice, too.
Keep it in good shape!

Yeah, the tom is just a Premier that someone added or substituted, it
matches almost perfectly wrap wise and is a weird 8 x 13, not a 9 depth.
The 8'' depth makes the rack tom fit nicely over the 20'' kick with the
original late 60's mounts. Only thing I have had to do was get a
after market hoop mounted spur thingy to stop bass drum 'creep' since
the original spurs are very bad. I love hoop mounted spurs and highly
suggest them for guys who don't want to alter their vintage kits with
new holes etc, just clip them on and go! Cool1
Are the spur sockets the spring lever type or the ones with a wing screw?

Screw - I didn't think about changing the mounts yet if they can be
retro fitted with a modern mount without making larger holes are new
holes, if that's where you're going... :)

OK, all I was going to suggest was for you to change the socket to the lever spring type socket, no drilling required, they will fit straight into the existing holes and are much more solid (and correct for the period!).
