I was wondering how old these might be and what they might be worth.

Pics 1 & 2 are of a 13", weighing 816 grams. I'm guessing the bottom of a hi hat?

Pics 3 & 4 are of a 14", weighing 771 grams.

Neither cymbal have any cracks or key holes.

I really don't need either of these, but maybe a fellow member might.

Thanks in advance.

#1 is a Trans-stamp 1940's worth quite a bit - about $125-50. #2 is a 50's worth about $75-90. Both weights are pretty nice actually.

I'm not seeing any difference in the stamps. I have a couple of 13s and one looks like the lathing on the 40s and one has lathing like the 50s. The stamp on the latter is barely visible esp. the turkish writing. Would these be about the same vintage as the ones pictured? The stamp on the one with finer lathing is the same as the 40s one in the pics.

atomic, click on a stamp pic, then restore down button..........repeat for the other stamp pic and you can view them side by side.

Perhaps you could post pics of yours ??

Look how deep the depressions of the 'Z' and the 'Co.' are in the first one. As if someone rolled the stamp template from left to right across the cymbal surface.

That's a transition stamp.

Second one has uniform lettering all the way across.
