What size it is?? also Field drums get no respect, and frankly I don't understand that:confused: the shell would not be that hard to repair!! and would make a great bebop tom??? Put it back to use, one days work and you have a vintage slingerland ready to serve!!!

It's a 16",with original NOB rims and has very nice looking snare beds cut in.with a little more encouragemant I might list it. I honestly didn't think this drum would be worth the shipping cost to the buyer!

I use an auto detailing "sonic spin" tpe of toothbrush looking tool and TurleWax rubbing compound, it is fast and leaves them protected all in shot. Cleans away 50 years of grime in secoconds. But that is just me, it's cheap and easy. Messy, but easy. You can pick up a cheap spinning toothbrush at a multitude of stores these days, and for less than 5 bucks at most dollar type stores.

Ok, so, What do I clean these nickle lugs with? :confused:I have a super power grinder that I will be using as a polisher when I figure out how to mount it on the work bench.

I was hoping the answer would involve a CHEMICAL process.:o

Groove juice will do it full strength, just soak the lugs and all metal parts except aluminum. groove juice will burn it!!
