Thats exactly how I feel. I mean sure it is rare...but does is it going sound amazing? The only way I would by a snare like that is if was cheap.

This is why I don't collect. I just don't get that. That snare drum won't sound like an 1800 dollar drum. NO snare drum sounds like an 1800 snare. I've never understood it and obviously never will. It's good that some do, though. That way, goofs like me can see mint examples of those things in the old books and films. Pretty cool old drum. The only thing I can think about is, "what does it sound like and how does it feel?". Nice thread Kevin. Neat old drum.

I just watched an old Blondie movie and Dagwood played a sweet old kit on a ship. Man, those were neat old drums. Didn't sound that good, though. Looked GREAT!
