The follow up---The set on c/l in charotte,,north carolina,,The heading reads--1970s drum set--make offer--add number is 1121530664 it was posted on the 14th....The set was made by tama,,its a royal star set 1969-74 are the years they made them..why do i think this?? if you look at the tom mount--the cymbal mount on bass and bass drum spurs mounts those were made by tama and used on the royal star sets from late 60s to 1974...Tama also used the same lugs on the sets made of wood....Its a cool set--if the drums have no cracks and are in good condition--i would say from 550.00-650.00 for the set...mike

Guy's willing to do a buy/trade, too. I dunno, if I were in a 60 mile vicinity, I'd grab it if he would be negotiable to around that $500-600 pricetag.

I can pretty much guarantee there weren't many of THOSE made, and I agree....Star/Tama all the way.
