I just bought this drum on ebay. It does look English but it has a Tromsa throwoff and I have a vague memory that I have seen those lugs before. Oddly it has a traditional German shell size(360mm) The name appears to be Wiley but it has a very sophisticated diecast badge, not a piece of foil like a lot of the stencilled stuff has, so they must have made a few of them.http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trksid=p4340.l2557&rt=nc&nma=true&item=280639750884&si=rALjxzToJ3gRtikVT7p0HXLdukE%253D&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT

Nice acquisition, Phil - good looking.
Hoops looks as Trowa/Tromsa - sticksave & deep-flanged. And lugs are similar to Premier style.
Can't see in details - it's shell with force-rings or it simply looks at photo as thick plywood ?

George.
