WERNER:
You have the basic core drums of a top-of-the-line Slingerland kit from exactly 1970. Finished in Slingerland?s very nice Blue Agate Pearl, your kit looks to be in nice condition and today carries some not insignificant value in the vintage drum market. And as such it is to be taken care of, if I may be forgiven an editorial comment.
The badge is the etched aluminum transition badge used in 1970 for a short period. This was the badge Slingerland used when they reset and started the serial numbers over again that year. The total number of these badges is very small (I?ll tell everyone the exact number someday?) Bottom row, third badge from the left:

The interiors of your drums are correct for 1970, having the weak chocolate milk stain that Slingerland used from late 1966 through 1969, tapering down in use during 1970 and 1971. Both this interior as well as clear maple were used in 1970 ? 1971. Other than the Ludwig cymbal mount, all the other parts we can see are correct ? Set-O-Matic tom mounting with aluminum plates and gray ball stem, 60?s T-rods, large-knob J-hook tone control, slotted hex head lug screws, matching Blue agate bass drum inlays intact, correct floor tom mounts ? really very nice.
As Rich K. says, valuable drums ? hold on to them!
