Hi all! I have something on my mind that I think we should all begin to do, maybe. Let's see, how hard could it be for us to all come here, post the drum(s) we are interestred in as we see them, then alert the forum that we are the one bidding. It would maybe keep us from bidding against each other and driving prices, and frustration, and it could keep someone from paying more and keeping prices lower.
It makes sense for us to not be bidding against each other, or to make deals. I mean look, if you are bidding on something and I like it and see it is really priced right, and you already have a good bid, if I come and check and you are bidding, I can either contact you to see what your real interest is, and to let you know I really want that because it the exact kit I owned in 3rd grade...or so I won't beat you up, not knowing I am bidding against you. If we know who we are bidding against, it makes sense not to drive prices higher for our sake, and maybe saving each other some money from time to time. And it could keep prices down by keeping bids lower and recently closed searches may reflect lower prices if we are not in a bidding war, unknowingly. This could keep sellers expectaiotns from thinking WOW I can get 10,000 for my KingStone Snare Drum...know what I mean Vern? We know what a reasonable price is, and all to often too many idiots drive them up, for no reason other than they like shiny things.....kinda like ferrets....
