doubtful you'll get much info on these on this forum.
these aren't even approaching vintage.
I had a set of these in 1990 paid $600. Toms were 12 x 12 and 13 x 13, I believe. Sounded okay with Pinstripes on 'em. Bass drum hoops were some kind of composite material with the maple shells. Even after warranty replacements the hoops were warped from the factory and were never round and flat, so the BD could never be tuned properly and never sounded good. Traded them in after ~ a year and they went to a church drummer in mint condition for $450 with snare and stands and another set of new hoops (warranty again).
Shells were okay and Mars HW was pretty sturdy. Very functional if the hoops are fine.

I too had a late 90's Mars PRO series, a Turquoise Green with ebony pinstripes tuned LOW like I like them to sound.Got compliments all the time from fellow bandmembers.Although I traded it off(wished I still had it) I still use some of the heavy duty stands I kept.
