It looks like a standard snare. The location is why this lasted. It is in mid-michigan and not close to anything. Most people search in Ann-Arbor and Detroit but I search all over the state., I just happen to be going deer hunting up north so it will work out for me to swing by and get the set. Otherwise it would take me 2-1/2 hrs one way.

I have a set of vintage (1971 Classics) Ludwig's already so I may be selling this kit or the other. It depends on my financial situation with the up-coming heating bills I am going to be paying. I am of course going to give them a test drive and I do want to keep both but I am not sure I can.

I would hate to offend anybody by trying to make a profit being that I have disclosed the price I payed for the kit. Or is this considered a normal practice on the forum. I'm not trying to be rude I'm just curious. I would certainly offer a fair price though. mcjnic, If I decide to keept the set would you be interest in selling the 14" ft. I much prefer a one up two down config.

Ludlover, nobody should be offended to pay a fair price, no matter what you paid. Everyone loves a deal, but fair is still fair.

Actually, I would be offended. Horribly offended. Not to the point of climbing the tower and shedding tears, but...ya know...offended. I just don't want to pay much money for such great drums. Is that a crime? I ask you...is it? No, really. I don't honestly know and need an answer.

It was me with the 14 floor...not Jaye...and yes...I'm curious about the fade match. If you do decide to part with said kit and the fade is close, I would be interested.

Anywho...when you hold them, let me know if they are more teal than blue. That's usually the fade for these blue mist standards. My floor tom is well down the teal road. Thanks for the consideration. Hope I didn't frighten you off and blow the deal before we even get to talk, but I'm shy.
