24" cymbal case

these drums were ordered with bonzo in mind, way before there was a tribute kit. i have all the paper work that ordered them & the shipping document from selmer/ludwig. these i believe are a 9, out of 10. there is a small nick in the bass drum from where a crash cymbal fell & hit. there is some faint cracking in the finish on the top of the bass drum.

these are much louder than you can even imagine.

this complete set will be sold as one unit & not parted out.

i have had detailed digital photos taken & will load them when i can figure out how to do it. (soon!)

thank you in advance,

the ear drum

Those measurements don't seem to jive with JB's sizes. Can't really comment on the value till I see some photos...will check back.

Bigger and likely less marketable in my personal opinion. Many people would likely go for it if was an exact replica of Bonzo's kit. It's a beautiful piece of furniture but not many guys would actually gig with it, it's just TOO big and possibly TOO loud. For that reason the cases don't really add anything to the value. It's a shame about the bass drum, too - that probably detracts at least a hundred or two. I'd peg the value somewhere around $1,000 to $1,250 with the hardware listed - and that's IF you can find a buyer for this monster. Besides, Ludwig's reputation was a bit shaky in the 80's. DW has been eating their lunch ever since. It sure is pretty though... Best of luck!
