I'll just throw this out.

Just sold a '71 5x14 Super-Sensitive on the Bay for $320 shipped.

I know they are not held in high regard by most, but some do.

Others I saw had sold for about $200... and there are a couple of Ebay right now that some more ideas as to price could be gotten from.

The one I sold had absolutely no pitting or flaking at all, an anomaly, I know, so perhaps that's why the higher sales price.

I'll keep letting all you "Rock" guys keep spreading the word that these snares suck for rock use..... :D This way we can keep the price of SOMETHING made by Ludwig down.....I've had a couple of these over the years and have used them in all kinds of music settings and have had no issues with sympathetic buzzing....but then again I take the time to tune it and surrounding drums that set it off to a point that it wont cause major amounts of unwanted buzzing. Hmmmm
