Tommy, as a person I look up to in knowledge and collection, your comment on this drum made my day. Thank you! (You too Mark!) This drum was an eBay purchase and the heads up go to mlayton. It has the original case, stand, a wooden Ludwig practice pad, 2 pairs of sticks (one pair is Ludwig script 2A) a almost mint copy of Ludwig drummer and The Ludwig Drum method. Won't brag what I paid, but if you wanna know, it's out there. The drum IMHO was worth it all. She's gorgeous and almost dead mint, save for very light scratching on a lug or 2, rubbing against the case.
Can I also ask for your expertise, as I double posted, not realizing that you can comment on the Drum Image gallery. If it's not too much trouble to delete the other thread and move comments here?
If I ever decide to get rid of it, I'll give ya first crack. Hoping I don't need to as this is one of my best, but I still stick by my words.
Thanks again for the kind words...
Gary
Beautiful drum. I love Standards even though I only have 2 1/2.
Gary!
BALLS said the queen! I put your request into motion.. ( transfer the other thread comments to THIS thread ) .. but when it went to execute, it DROPPED the posts! I have done that in the past with no problems, so don't know what happened here. My apologies, as that shouldn't have happened.
Yeah... I have to say that this snare drum is really eye catching! The condition of it too... just MINTY. Certainly a keeper!

If I had 2 I'd be King!! "A" for effort! No reason to apologize. Next up in a few days will be the Ludwig Downbeat in Blue Sparkle.
Hi Gary!
Great looking Standard snare drum! I'll have to check it out next time I'm out your way!

Yes please do Mark. If I wasn't out chasing other drums last Saturday, you could of saw her in the "transition" phase. It's a very nice drum, dare I say as nice as the 6-lugger we traded things for ?
