I have a secret technique. I made up business cards, cost $59.95 for 500 color cards. The cards say, " Buying Drums, Calll XXX-xxxx"......thats the way I did it.

If that is a 2 piece shell, and the edge flange goes clear back to the shell and is soldered, then you got the drum for about 10% of its value.

If there is evidence of solder or a seam around the circumference at the bead, (The bead is double thickness) then it is a 2 piece. The soldered back flange would indicate the same thing.

OK, cool. Yes, it is a two piece. Thanks for the info. Someone is this forum said it was probably 1920-1926? Does that sound right?
