Ludwig Rockers? Maybe? Last viewed: 0 seconds ago

These are the Ludwig Rockers I got on a trade...I think. The drum heads say Rockers, but I don't know if the drums are or no. The serial number on one of the black and white badges is 1724583. I don't know if that means they are Rockers or not. My sister plays them, too! Anyway, can anyone tell me if these are really Rockers or just a Ludwig set. Either way, I can't keep them, so I want to be sure before I tell people that's what they are. I'm hoping to get $400 for them. Is that realistic? Thank you for anything you can tell me.

yep, those are 80's rockers. decent kits in my opinion. and from what i can tell, the kit looks all original. pretty clean actually. $400. sounds fair to me.

i personally never seen a 8" rocker tom (the small one in the pic looks like a 8") but that doesn't mean they didn't make'em.

As others have said, yes those are Rockers. I have a mid 80's Rocker set that I've recorded with a number of times and got great results. If those toms are 8" and 10" you may want to consider getting a 12" and 13". Those smaller toms may have been an add on option.

I'm guessing that it is a split double bass kit. There is probably a mtched kit out there somewhere with a 12 13 18 tom set.

If you are looking to sell those to raise funds for another kit, do your research in order to get all the value out of them. One of those little 8in toms just sold on the bay for $125 all alone.

This should be easy to get $400 for it all, no matter how you sell it....perhaps a good sale for someone to add to their existing 5 piece for a double bass kit, as has been hinted at.

Once you sell it, what are your plans? We would like to help you as much as we can! Many of us on here are quite active in equipping younger players like yourself, and we are a great bunch of drummers to help you get 'set up'.

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

I'd like to get a 8" tom for my Vistalite set. My parents got me a 6" one for Christmas and I have the 10" and 12" ones, so I think that's the only one I need. I'd also like to get some cymbals. I guess, I don't really know what I want or need!

I have a Rocker 2 set with those same rounded lugs and black and white badges. And I have 8 and 10" tom's, so they did make them. Are the isides of the drums wood or speckled paint?

They are the speckled paint.

Should I try to sell it as a set or 1 drum at a time?
