I think that's a pretty good idea. I would sell those and use the profits to get the missing stuff you need to make this set nice and original again.

That's what I am thinking. It's sooo close to being a super awesome set. I am never going to use a seven piece kit. I'm kinda stuck on how much to ask for them. I'm out of the loop as far as pricing goes, not to mention the wrap and the fact that they are Concert toms. Those may give someone the chance to drill them and complete a set.
22,13,16
5x14 Supraphonic
Early 70s Ludwig Mod Orange
8x12 Concert Tom
10x14 Concert Tom
12x15 Concert Tom
50's Gretsch 10" x 14" marching snare. Refinished in clear lacquer. Tube lugs!
Here's a sob story, although self inflicted, for you:
I had to sell my 1971 (clear wood shells) Mod Orange set way back in 1975 when I got a DUI and my parents refused to pay for my lawyer. I think I sold them for about what I paid - $400?
I purchased them at Sam Ash in Huntington NY and still cry over the loss - oh well I shouldn't have driven drunk.
70s Ludwig Standard Aqua Mist
60s Ludwig Champagne Sparkle Downbeat
and a whole bunch of snares and hardware
