LUDLOVER!...Multiple answers to your questions here! The straight forward answer is that this set is IN the Buddy Rich configuration... it is not however an actual cataloged BR set from when he was a Ludwig endorser. The spurs are incorrect on this set for starters, and incorrect only means as a CATALOGED Buddy Rich model from his last endorsement period with Ludwig which was from 1977 to 1980 WITH an endorsement contract. Are there TWO shell mounted "L" arm holders on the bass drum? Can't tell from the pic... you should inquire. Also, I have to agree with you on the floor toms... one does indeed look like it could be a 14X14, or even a 16X18... but again, doesn't really matter as this isn't an actual cataloged Buddy Rich set.Have a look/read at this thread... plus ... there's a nice shot of the actual cataloged BR model. It will help!http://www.vintagedrumforum.com/showthread.php?t=6207Tommyp
Actually, I think this is a BR set. I called again and found out that the bass drum has been modified (extra holes) for different spurs. The original telescoping spur mounts (actual spurs are missing) in the back of the drum are still there. I found out that the bass drum is in fact a 16x24 13x9 tom and two 16x16 ft's. The bass drum also has the Rail Consolette but has been moved to the center of the drum.
There is no snare drum either.
According to the Ludwig catalogue photo I have attached, which I got from the link Tommyp provided, this set very well may be a Ludwig BR set.
The picture I have attached can be seen better in the link below.

I'm not sure it is worth the money with the mods done to the bass drum though????
Any info would be a help.
