Yes. The shells are just fine to take a wrap. I wrapped a maple gloss 6 ply kit in wmp and ran into no problems at all. Should do aok.
The sound is interesting. I liked it ok but it's not GREAT. It's just pretty cool.

well, ok, fill me in! I played a 14x24 but never a 16x24. Loved the 14x24, very low and wet.
