Since you asked for a part number...I will ask a question about wrap. This is kind of fun! Okay ready...What is the chemical compound name that vintage Ludwig WMP wrap is made out of?

It's called pyrolin.

It is actually dihydropyrroles which is apart of the alkyl group...pyrolin is what is produced after the reaction. Sorry...I got really into chemistry.

answer the question???? My main beef with you is you called yourself an Expert and know everything about 60's Ludwig drums, I don't know any body who claims that, And if you are as young as you stated, I live 70 miles from the Ludwig Factory and Know Dick Gerlach personally! he's held literally every job in Ludwig there is he's never even made the statement you have!!

Yeesh. . . This thread belongs in a schoolyard. . . over a game of marbles. My two cents: if you have to tell everyone how smart you are, it's time for a little humility. "If anyone thinks he knows anything, he knows nothing yet as he ought to know."

When did I say I was an expert? I said I enjoy studying Ludwig drums and learning something new everyday! I don't believe drum heads fall into the category of drums by the way...
I've never ripped anyone off on this site..in fact I have never purchased any thing off ebay, vintage drum forum, or the Drum Forum. I buy all my gear locally and I don't lie about my prices.

My age??? I am high school student...who has a love for restoring/collecting vintage drums. Does that make me any less knowledgeable than both of you...no.

One thing I do know is in 20 years I will have a wife, kids, a job, a huge Ludwig collection and will not be spending my time on a forum as a grown man. I wish you guys the best of luck in the vintage drum world...you will be coming to me when I have the largest Ludwig collection in the world hahahha. Just kidding I think I am going to move onto vintage cars when I am older. But who really knows?

Hmmmmm. I have a wife, a job and two kids, twins actually, and I participate on this forum all the time. I am a grown man too. You have almost a thousand posts and then throw out a slap to the older guys who participate on the forum. Mind you, a vintage drum forum that would naturally attract a member of a riper age.

You post low prices and try to skin cats who don't know any better. Read my posts. I am good with that maneuver. If they don't know, then shame on them. BUT, you don't have to throw the members under the bus for being married, having kids and still posting on the forum. You are definitely not an expert on marriage and child rearing. Wait until your kids are able to drive, have wheels, have girlfriends/boyfriends and you have to schedule an appointment to actually talk to them.... Wait until your daughter is jumping into that jacked up four wheel drive Ford pickup while that pinhead is revving up his newly mufflered engine in your driveway. Wait until your son is either at his girlfriends house, ball practice or sleeping.... At this point, you will most assuredly find a place just like this to spend your free time, hopefully, because the other options are much much worse, and I say what is wrong with that.

In case you can't tell, I take offense to your comment about being married with kids and posting on the forum like I am some kind of degenerate with no life of something. This just is not true and you are being way to judgemental for someone who doesn't even have a bill in his name yet.

have a wonderful evening
