thanks for keeping it honest guys, greatly appreciate it.

i've noticed the flat base cymbal stands selling for 100+ a piece in all original great condition, im thinking of setting my price around $250 for all 4 stands, seem fair for everyone, would u agree?

thanks again

If they are all clean, I would say that's a very very good deal for someone.

From drumbum3131

I'd love to disagree...the last four model 1400 stands I have purchased have come from guys who know their vintage drum gear! One being a local Ludwig collector who sold me two for $65 each the other two being from a music store called starving musician for $45 each. By the way these things are mint!(And the rarer ringo version). Thats great if you would like to disagree...but the last couple wfl snare stands I've seen can't even sell in the $15-$25 range. Also the last two wfl model 1121-3 Hi-Hat stands have sold for $27 and $40. By the way Kevin aren't you the guy who was trying to sell a red top Ludwig seat for $150 with a tear in it?? What did you end up getting? And a listing of one of the sets this Ludwig collector I got my stands from is below...he KNOWS vintage Ludwig and all I collect is vintage Ludwig gear!(You would think I have a clue)http://cgi.ebay.com/1969-Ludwig-5x14-Supraphonic-Snare-Drum-/280521395288?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item415060cc58#ht_500wt_920And I think this is pretty honest!!!"You might be able to get even more for the cymbal stands...those are pretty hot right now."

Ebay right this second! http://cgi.ebay.com/Ludwig-1967-Model-1400-Flat-Base-Cymbal-Stands-2-1-/250647798334?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a5bc5e23e you would never in my dying days get them for that price!!

Your drummers not much good is he!? What you need is someone that's as good as me. ! John Henry Bonham !!

No sweat. If I'm wrong, all is well. I went by what I've seen. If you've got different numbers, then by all means ...

roundbadgedude, drumbum and VM2K both know of what they speak. I defer to them. They both carry WAY more vintage drum experience than myself. Maybe just do your own sampling from the waters and see what you come up with. Compare that to what these two fine gents offer and go from there.

i think its amazing that people who are interested in buying something are so hesitant to name a price. i mean seriously, are they scared or something? lol i just don't get it is all. i've been back and forth with people with questions, comments, etc but its like pulling teeth to get someone to name their price! don't be scaredy cats, the least that will happen is the seller will say 'no.'
