So I was walking the Chicago Drum Show and stopped at the Leedy Full Dress drum kit.

As I looked at the set I noticed the tops of the Leedy cymbal stands.. They looked like something that I have seen in the past.

So I inquire with the gentleman and he says he thinks they are the tops to a lamp..

I then mention this little box of Leedy brass fittings and they look like something I have in my collection.

Well, not exactly, but if you cut the end off and tap them, then they are the same thing as on that set.

So, could these be unfinished brass cymbal stand toppers?

Maybe, Maybe not..
