If you look hard enough, you will find the same item listed multiple times on occassion.

And then there was the fake Dynasonic one of this "group" of sellers had up a few months ago for a BIN of 2995.

From troutstudio

Out of all their past crimes, to me this ranks as one of the worst. These are just the loveliest wood snare you could ever hope to play. They could have just put the whole drum up for sale on a real auction, but now they have actually destroyed it. I didn't think I could hate anyone but this comes very very close. They are vandals. What a waste. Soap Box

...and...they didn't even clean up the shell...

The auction link still works. The imbedded pic link pics also work.

With the level of knowledge these people have concerning vintage drums... I refuse to even consider this was an accident.

I can find it in my heart to really, really, dislike...... all of these people.

WMP Finish is immaculate with little to no fade!

Hardware is very clean considering its age

It's been stored well over the years

Clear Maple Interior w/ Reinforcement Hoops

Heads are in great shape!

If you don't mind me asking how did they fake this drum? Did they start with a larger parade drum and cut it down? I'd like to know how to spot things like this.

Thanks.

I'm surprised they left the "Rogers" script on that other WMP shell. Very sad to se such a nice snare stripped down and parted out.

Glenn.

Not a guru just havin fun with some old dusty drums.

I've had a couple of run-ins with them over the years....this was one of my last dealings

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1967-LUDWIG-16-BURGUNDY-SPARKLE-FLOOR-TOM-for-DRUM-SET-LOT-K202-/270997374617?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3f18b3c699

They had this drum and a 13 that they have up there and I bought both to go with my bass drum that was dated within 20 days from the factory...when they didn't match at all, I looked deeper and it is the newer burgundy wrap they were both re-wraps. I got my money back except shipping but I think that's their deal. They take their chances that someone won't look close enough. I'm sure a lot of these things slip through without anyone checking.

I've never bought anything from them but they always seem strange. They post more pictures of landscapes or some girl more than they post the drum or whatever.

After reading all of this I will make sure to avoid them.
