once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

From Mike Curotto

I agree...there have been more than a few folks who have not had favorable dealings with Jonas, this stuff is 15-20 yrs. old and way before these drum forums were around so I say let the venting happen, conversely, let any positive dealings surface too.Mike Curotto

For the most part, I do agree with most everything said about this seller. I've purchased from them only one time. I needed a Swivomatic cymbal bracket for my Headliner bass drum. There are always plenty of floor tom brackets up for sale, but cymbal brackets are few and far between. I finally bit the bullet and purchased one for $45 BIN. There were definite issues with the bracket when it arrived, but Jonas (or whoever else it was I was dealing with) made good on it and sent another bracket in VG condition. I did have to send the original bracket back.

Like most have noticed, many of their items don't sell, due to the high prices they ask. I do wonder though, at what point in time do they finally realize that the only way to make $$$ and move their inventory is to lower prices?!

Out of all their past crimes, to me this ranks as one of the worst.

These are just the loveliest wood snare you could ever hope to play. They could have just put the whole drum up for sale on a real auction, but now they have actually destroyed it. I didn't think I could hate anyone but this comes very very close. They are vandals. What a waste. Soap Box

I just looked at a couple auctions I'm watching and one of em is him. I bid on an item that was started at .99 cents and only had a day left and another person jumped in and outbid me. After doing some digging, it's my opinion that some bid shilling is going on.

Can someone tell me how to block ebay sellers? I can't seem to figure it out.

I think you can only block bidders.

Looking for a late 80's to early 90's, preferably Arctic White Pearl MLX 14x14 floor tom.

If you're asking how to block certain sellers from a custom search of your choosing... Click on the "advanced" icon next to the search box on your Ebay page....enter whatever information you want to search for and then scroll down to "sellers"and check that box. Once you do that, you will see a drop down box that will give you the choice to "include" or "exclude". You can type in any sellers you wish to exclude in your searches. Once you save that info, you can call it back up by clicking the "advanced" and go to "saved searches"......

I've had nothing but horrible dealings with "Leecountymusic". I blocked her/him from bidding on any of my auctions. I won't go into the details because it's been covered enough. Whoever you are Leecountymusic, if you are reading these posts, i want you to know, you are a total piece of $hit.

Before I joined this forum, I noticed this 'policy' on one of his/her auctions. For anyone still considering buying form them, check it out.

"We reserve the right to send you a 2nd invoice for any s&h shortage,

especially if we have made a listing error. For example, we list a snare drum and the s&h is shown as $8.95, but should be $24.95. We would then reserve the right to send you a bill for the difference.

Please note that ebaY allows vendors to charge s&h. This includes the actual shipping plus handling which covers rent/mortgage, fees and commissions, labor, packing materials and other boring overhead such as electricity and water. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not place a winning bid."

If you read this legally they can send a second invoice for rent and other overhead costs rolled into the shipping and handling. Also, notice how he says, "If you do not agree with this policy, please do not place a winning bid." - you can still bid (helping him raise the selling price) just don't place a winning bid. :) haha

Wow over 1000 drum items alone. I never knew they were this big of a operation. My son buys/sells a lot of vintage guitars and parts and I told him to steer clear of these a-holes and tell all his friends. He has a lot of friends too!! guitar3

Glenn.

Not a guru just havin fun with some old dusty drums.
