Here's another anomaly for your consideration, possibly the largest floor tom ever made. The words "kettle drum" come to mind. Dimensions of a kick drum, but brackets are for legs. Man, talk about Bonzo size!!Laughing H

Currently working on a 7 piece virgin double bass 3 ply early 70's Ludwig kit to be wearing....MOD ORANGE.

They're not very common, but I remember seeing a couple pros using 22" floor toms in the past. Genuine factory made 22"s, not converted bass drums.

I do agree with you also, the groumet isn't ludwig, look's like the bearing edges where messed with, this size did exist, but I would leave this one alone!?!?Kleening

I have been looking for a floor tom for my bdp's I have that one on my watch list. I had emailed him asking the deminisions and her never replied, so he edited the listing. I thought it looked odd but i thought it was just the camera playin tricks! WOW!

I just picked up on the badge being by the leg brackets and thus ?upside down? May be they gave up on the legs, rolled it on the side and played it with a beater! Q:How do you buy (4) legs in a set? A:Now there's another anomaly for ya! :rolleyes:

poppy- If you want to match up to BDP you should consider that the bigger the drum, the more expensive it is to recover... keep watching and you should find a 16x16 Ludwig soon enough (assuming you mean BDP, not BOP)

Actually i have found something else to restore, while I wait for my FT. I need a old Luddy with a white interior 16X16 FT. I aquires this old premier hi hat stand. It's a monster! Im fixin to start a thread on it in restoring

I've seen older 20" floor toms from other brands (like Rogers, Slingerland, etc)that also came with 4 leg mounts.
