Hi. I would like any information that anyone might have on this snare drum. It doesn't have a badge or name anywhere on it. It is 4"x14", 6 tube lugs with a natural wood interior. Metal looks like nickel. Unique looking grommet. I have the matching bass drum too. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks!

This one has me perplexed, any marks on the inside of the drum
or the bass drum?

Hi. I took the head off of this drum and I actually did see a place where it looks like a small rectangle ink stamp. I have included a pic of this but there is not enough of it to be able to make out a name or number. The only other ID on this drum is the word Gretsch on the snare strainer, but that could have been added later. I will take a closer look at the bass drum.
I'm gonna take a stab in the dark and say they are imported "knock off" drums from the 60's. Possibly Kents? Am I close?
Definitly a Japanese kit. I would say its from the late 50's. A lot of strange things came out of the orient at that time...
I have a blue diamond pearl Revere set that is made from keller shells and sounds great!
