I found a Slingerland, similer to that Ludwig at a yard sale a month ago.Yes Sir
“I did not trip and fall. I attacked the floor and I believe I am winning.”
Can you imagine the shock and surprise on his face when the bidding went past $100.00, then $1000.00 flew past in a blur, and OMG, did they just buy it for almost $2600?"
MARTHA...go find me another yard sale woman!
And the shock when the invoice was paid within 10 minutes of posting it....this guy must have had a heart attack when the invoice was paid. Think about George and Martha at the yard sale..."...hmm, wanna see if we can double our money on this 20.00 drum over here, maw? I'll bet some silly kid'll pay at least 50.00 fer it...maybe even get 75.00..." "Now George...you don't know nuthin' about no damned drums, yer gonna go and lose money agin, you old crow." .."aww maw, it's only 20.00 bucks, let's see. We could get our money back, maybe put a little reserve on the old can and see what it does..." "Well, iffin you lose again, ye ain't go yardsellin' with me nemore!"
"I enjoy restoring 60s Japanese "stencil" drums...I can actually afford them..."I rescue the worst of the old valueless drums for disadvantaged Children and gladly accept donations of parts, pieces and orphans, No cockroaches, please...

...and THAT'S the reason I make sure to hit every estate sale that I can! I've gotten some pretty cool stuff. I kept track for the past 2 years, and my ratio for finding some kind of gem is about 20:1! Ah, summertime...
