I have found a vintage 5 piece 1967 Ludwig Psychedelic Red drum set... I don't know much about drums but they seem to be rare. Can anybody help me out? It has the Psychedelic snare too, opposed to the metal one. I have pictures and I will post them soon. But I'd like to start getting an idea on what they are worth.

If this goes right this post will contain pictures.... Chewie:
WOW...I don't think I've ever seen a Club Date/Combo in that finish. You should be proud of those. Get all the correct parts, and those should be worthy drums. Nice find!
Uhhh. what happened to that floor tom? That is the most valuable part of that kit because a 14 FT club is hard to come by.

Obviously- buy them now! That`ll be a fun restoration and worth it. I think 400$ cash in hand would work.

I actually own these drums... The floor tom was cut by the previous owner which sucks, but I am just trying to get an idea of what I can sell these drums for?

Truth is, the floor tom will cut in half (no pun intended), or more, what they would have brought, but if you stole them, then who cares? I mean, paying yard sale for that set, and selling them, you are looking maybe 200-400 maybe more? I'm not a Ludwig expert, but they will show up, as that is a wrap many people like. Not my favorite, but on that set, my guess is not too many of them around in original condition. The b/b mufflers, what color are the felts on the tone controls?

From my perspective- the snare, if in good condition, would be worth about 200$ and the other drums worth about 200$ in the condition I see them. Is there any vintage pedal or hardware going along? That would make a 400$ asking price sweet. You might start an auction like that at 300$ to be fair and see where it goes.

I think that snare in good condition is worth far more than 200.00.
The FT s such a bummer it makes me wanna CryBaby - seriously that just kinda killed the value of that set ! $250 snare & maybe $300 or so for everything else - it has the added detriment of some foo having painted the shellsHurting l pity the foo !!!!Mister T
