How not to ship drums Last viewed: 1 hour ago

Got this yesterday, wondering if I should leave feedback....of the not nice variety. If you are a member here, shame on you! The bulge on the box was the drum, used too small of a box.

Its better to have people think you're an idiot, than to open your mouth and prove them wrong, unless you doubt yourself then speak away....

No, VM2000, surprisingly it wasn't. Came from No. Calif. to me in So. Calif., charged me $20.00 shipping, actual was about $13.50. I bought it just for the badge, so I got a deal on it. Sent a nice note asking about charges, we'll see what happens....

I would either get a refund for shipping or leave feedback reflecting his packing job. Simply give him the option. :)

Not giving honest feedback on this is tacit approval. Purchase is not only of the merchandise, but an implied promise of quality packing. And if you (over)pay for shipping, there is no excuse for a shoddy packing job, damage or not.

I fully agree with quality packaging...and the feedback should be for that alone..... As a buyer and seller.... I KNOW/SET the shipping (AND HANDLING) fees and either I agree to pay whatever the shipping cost is...or I do not bid.... I also expect someone who knows my shipping (and Handling) fees beforehand....to Never complain.....!!

Perhaps the drum expanded during shipment from N. CA to S. CA. The box still looks good, though. Seriously, I had a similar packaging issue with a 20" kick, shipped by a real "doosher". I sent it back in the same box it came in, but I packed it in a bigger box and better protected. What's with people?
