How much is this worth? cleveland era rogers holiday kit with beavertails Last viewed: 1 hour ago

ok so im gonna be selling this soon if anyones interested and im hoping to figure out how much this thing is worth

i have writtend own all the serial numbers and what not and sizes and heres what i got

all of the stickers read "cleveland ohio"

i got one powertone snare in a champaign gold sparkle its sn is 12198 and it is 14" and is 5.5" tall

the set comes with 2 toms rather than the one tom ive seen before and the left tom is the same size as the right both are 12 inches by 8 inches the left tom is serial number 9376 and the right is 9345 both of these toms have a peculiarity that the bass drum may or may not have the orriginal label has the model blacked out and the word "holiday" writen in neat typewriteresque font printed in it.

finally the bass drum is 20" by 16" and its serial number is 8680 i didnt tell my friend who was reading back the numbers to check on the peculiarity that was on the snares but im kinda sure it might be there

the floor tom is 16x16 and the serial number is 52672 it reads holiday inside

a little bit of more information these are all beavertail lugged(if "lugged" is a real word lol). and in superb condition considering their age, they're dusty but that comes off with a feather duster and what not. there are your standard marks of aging paint chipping/fading on the bass drums black ring bands, however the champaign gold finish has held up great, theres hardly a sign of wear on them. the heads on the toms look to be orriginal heads or at least rogers heads from some era they read "weather king a1. the head on the bass' front has a big "rogers" sticker on it thats kinda sparklyish.

i am about to sell these things soon in hopes to buy a drum set and me and my friend who gave me half of them are splitting the profit. i am a begginer and have heard great things about this set and well id like these to go to a good home thats not going to screw them up :)

thanks so much for your time

About $125. That should net you a cool $62.50 each. Nice haul.

$275. If you divided that between two people it should get you $200. I read your other posts. You don't sound like someone that would divide this evenly.

everywhere im reading says between 1200 and 2000 so im assuming that would be off, why would it be only worth 175$?

anyways as for me being a sleazy dude thats not gonna divide evenly thats ridiculous. my other friends were pressuring me to sell the snare and tom and not tell the guy. i did what was right and told the guy id be willing to trade the valuable pieces for the non valuable pieces he has. it was my friend that gave me this set that suggested splitting it even.

as for shipping it to canada, if you pay for it ill do it or we can meet in wisconsin and you can pay cash or something, i have no idea lol

That is a TopHat set and with the old dogbone double tom holder which imo is the best one ever made..looks to be in nice shape i would take no less than 1500.... i know i owned the same set in blue sparkle very hard to find..

BTW the bass drum is 14x20 it is measured without the rims on.. :)
