Today I had to go downtown to pa a parking ticket.....yeah right...Anyway, on my way out I decided to stop and look for some sticks for a newly found Jazz drummer friend that I am donating some gear to, a snare and some other minor stuff. Anyway, I looked around and lo and behold, Gold shimmered from across the room....

Tell me if I need to go get pix and prices, becaiuse what I am about to reveal is 4 kits, and a ton more, that you guys are always clamoring and drooling over...well, me too, but the difference is you can afford them.

1) Orange Sparkle Club Date in excellent condition, no snare.

2) Orange Sparkle 22-12-13-16 (14) not sure as it was behind too much stuff and I did not want to alert the authorities that they might move some gear...

3) 20-12-14 Champain Sparkle

4) Blue Glass Glitter, or Sparkle, Rogers

5) Silver and Blue Duco Leedy, or Lud, hell, I really don't know, but there are a complete kit with tacked reso heads, in really good shape, very restorable. Guy has some rough diamonds, and some drool factor 12 stuff. Let me know what the Champ is really worth, in OMG condition, and I'll gop get pix, if you like. ANd there is a blue sparkle Classic snare and a blue sparkle 64 red felt Pioneer, and , and , and ,...I wet myself......brb.....Jump For Joy

All in Excellent to OMG condition. Tell me what the values are, I know what he is asking for one of them, and I'll decide if it is woth going Saturday to take pix.

n' have the money to walk away with it all. You name it, they have one or three.Guys, this old shop is a dream, almost like Mikey's, except, well, I dom

I'll drive over for the blue Rogers...if you don't mind. I'm right next door, geographically speaking, and it's worth the drive to save the postage on something as nice as those are reported to be.

OKC. It's at a drum shop. The only one I asked about, and I'm sure they just popped a high-ball on me, but it was the C.D. And it is scary, said 1200 just to get my reaction. I almost laughed, but they are sweet, and Orange. If you want me to get more info for you, I will go back up Saturday and get some pix. When I say this stuff is nice, man, it is sweet! I was in awe of the Champ, as it looked like the bass was in an original 60s packing bag, like that Supra on the 'Bay. That 20-12-14 just mesmerized me. They have a hundreds of old drums and kits. Let me know, I can't afford the stuff, but I also want to get in with the guy so I can get some work out of him, so helping to move some of this stuff might be a way in. I suspect, and I honestly did not move stuff around to get really good looks at it all, that it is all very close to collectors quality, so he may hold his line tight. I am not trying to make any money, I will assure you all of that, I want to make work for me. So, if you call the store and inquire about a Orange sparkle kit, you know, he is going to run the line. I want to get in good with this guy. He has almost anything you might want. There was a partial Ringo kit in pretty good condition as well, but I did not see the snare to it. I assume it was seperated years ago, nor did I see if they matched badges. Most of the Lud stuff was Keystone, some B/O rounded and pointy. Man, it was like I imagined walking into Mikey's dream.....

I did not check the price as the high ball he threw at me on the C.D. was a collectors' price, and it was almost that grade. Michael has asked about the blue Rogers first, but there is plenty of them there. You might want a blue onyx, perhaps? (I think it was Rogers) Or white? Most of the stuff was higher players quality, some I don't think you would drag to a bar fight, and some quite good for playing, solid goods. I saw stuff that made me moist....If Michael passes I will PM you. Like I said, I am not really looking to make money, I want an in with the guy so I can get some restoration work.
