Forgiven. No sweat. I'm just grateful that you are putting them out there for the average Joe to bid on. Sincerely. Thank you.
Gene Krupa's Drums, Cymbals, Throne, and Watch Last viewed: 2 hours ago

Jaye, he did exactly that - he turned the rack tom over...he didn't like to hit the drum over the spot where a muffler sits. You can also see plenty of photos of Gene playing with toms that have the mufflers removed altogether.
Well that's that then... the Krupa collection has sold.
Interesting.. looks like.. watch and a cymbal to one seller. Throne, snare, cymbal to another... kit and 50's hats going a different way together... and the rest of the cymbals going different directions..
$13,943.34 for the percussion gear.. $1,500 for the watch.
I wonder if B***T and N***N got what they wanted or if each wanted the whole shhhbang and ended up with basically half.
Neat to see that stuff come up on auction and to know it's out there somewhere till it lands with an owner who wants to part with it again.
Gives me time to keep playing that lottery... maybe I'll hit before it sells again. :)

The snare was on Dallas CL yesterday for $2600. The post was up only for a few hours...things that make you hmmmmm.
