From mcjnic

I had a sweet old black Premier kit (double bass) from around this timeframe. This is a nice kit. Excellent sounds. Congrats on the find.

Thanks mcjnic.

Could you tell me about what year these are?

It's missing one of the bass spurs. Funny thing is who ever had it didn't take time to take off a head and tighten it before it fell off. The nuts and washers are still in side the drum.Falling Do

Mine was from the early 80's. Yours is from around the 90's. Should be an XPK kit made up of Eucalyptus/Birch. They are a good sounding blend. Very good ... no strike that. They are an excellent gigging kit. Mine was a different blend. Your kit will sound great with the G2 or Emperor type heads. Deep and powerful. If you play jazz ... you might want to sit behind a different kit. These are rockin' drums. Excellent find.

If you were to post a closeup of the badge, it would help to make sure I didn't call this one incorrectly.

...well ... I've seen closer, but it'll do.

It looks good with the info posted. It's got the little 'i'. Hopefully, someone else will step in a either validate or correct.
