VDF Brothers and sisters, enclosed are some pics of singles that I've owned for a long time, the 2 drums that you see are a Gretsch 6 1/2x14 late 50's early 60's silver interior, no tag, the early 30's 9x13 slingerland radio king tom, this is a virgin tom with twin HAROLD R DODD single pad mufflers, this type tom is shown in Rob cooks the slingerland book on pages 37 and 149 and would of been mounted on the cradle that is shown, so enough history lesson, What my question is the 2 drums photoed the gretsch and the radio king tom where once blue and silver duco. but now they over time have changed to more a blue goldish color, but a lot of ducos turn this color over time, so i am going to put a WFL 26" Zephyr lugged bass drum, LEEDY 16X16" floor tom, and a SLINGERLAND 18X20" floor tom. I am going to have the other 3 drums shells painted the colors of the 2 duco drums I've shown. Tell me your thoughts, Yes -no- who care's etc!!!thanks D' Drummer

I love the idea of nesting these drums together in a kit. Great idea. It would make a great looking kit. The sound will be unreal. Nice move. Keep us up on this one. I would love to watch it come together. That's one of my favorite duco themes. You can't beat the royal flavor of blue and gold.
