Fender Starcaster Drums? Last viewed: 2 hours ago

Loading...

Hi, guys:

Has anyone heard of or had any experience with Fender Starcaster drums? I have a feeling that Fender should have stuck to guitars but, I may be wrong. There's Tama and Ibanez. Both quality instruments from the same company. Hmmm...Thanks.

You're not!

I see them once in awhile at the local Pawn shop. Firewood of the lowest order. Not even worthy of a 'serious' beginner! Other companies make much better quality entry-level kits, which is what the Fender's are supposed to be. Cheap-o crapolla. You can buy a new set, 5 drums with all stands and cymbals for $199. What does that tell you?

John

Too many great drums to list here!

This is the one and only time you will hear me degrade a musical instrument but i have to agree with you both, fender needs to stick with guitars. Fender guitars are awesome. Gibsons are better but we wont go into that here. LOL....just kidding guys. Anyhoo, a friend picked up a set of these for his 9 yr old to play and they sound horrible, my cooking pans sound better, but this litl guy is n drum heaven with his fender kit and thinks he is the next...fill n name...so i guess maybe in a way, they aint all that bad of drums. I, myself would not buy these drums but i also would not turn them down as a gift. :)

These are sold through Costco and are just crap. I see them on Craigslist all the time and they ask $400 or $500 for the set... which they got for about $350 and overpaid by $200 for. Horrible stuff.

Thanks, alparrot!

So far, it looks like these drums are not going win many votes!
