Well, I only have 4, no favorites..each having distinctive qualitys that I love.
77-78 Slingerland 6.5 10 lug Ss, COB, mint condition Great Rock Snare.
84 Tama 6.5 10 lug Die cast, Rosewood, warmth & probable best all rounder.
81 Slingerland 5.25 COS Festival 8 lug Ss, Tight sounding great rims.
2010 Gretsch 5.25 10 lug die cast, Hammered Brass, (contender for classic vintage item in the distant future IMO), well built, loud, warm & versatile.

Hi,
My fav is my Premier 2000 (Aluminium shell plus die cast hoops plus parallel strainer). Universal applicable for different music styles. Extra plus: she's sooooooo lightweight (just second to none).
