Here's another frustrating ebay transaction.
This is what the buyer sent to me:
QUOTE:
I want to know if you would like to refund my money and ship it back or do something to offset the price, maybe a twenty dollar bill shot back at me.
Remember I still got to give feedback.

I sent the following:
QUOTE:
Hey,
If you want to ship it back, no sweat. Ship it back. I'll refund what you paid when I get it. I don't pay for feedback, it's unethical, so that's not an option. Again, if you don't like it, ship it back. When I get it, I'll
refund whatever you paid. No sweat. If you decide you like it, then by all means keep it and enjoy it. Either way, be happy with your decision.

This is the NEUTRAL feedback he left me:

poorly explained. Its is not in exl condition. So bad I am reseling. ask questio

I filed an EXTORTION complaint with ebay. They said there was no evidence to support the claim.
Unreal.
I replied to ebay that he ASKED for twenty dollars back and reminded me that he "still got to give feedback". I offered the doggone refund if he wasn't happy. He never sent the thing back. They still say there's no evidence of extortion. IDIOTS!!!
I'm pretty much finished with selling stuff on ebay. It is getting to where it's not worth the trouble. This was for an older model DW snare stand. The buyer was bothered that it wasn't like the DW stands they sell today with DW imprinted on the rubber feet. That was his complaint. The doggone stand was like new. It was used in my house to hold up my Roland snare pad. That's all it ever did. It still had the doggone tag on it, for goodness sake.
Unreal.
