what do you think?
Early 40's WFL kit! How much is it worth? Last viewed: 1 hour ago
with the matching snare drum no less than $1600.00 and higher, this is a nice and complete kit!!
thank you.
man i'll never find the snare. i'm just trying to figure out its worth in case i wanna sell it one day. i've never seen one before like this (that wasn't in a vintage drum catalogue) that's why its hard for me to say/tell its worth.
Readjust the price, Sorry had brain fade without the snare drum, still at least $1,350.00 man that is a cool kit,,, kevins is gone to have a fit over it!!
i see. well thanks for your input.
who's kevin?
One of the forum member with some of this kit you have in white paint!
i see. maybe he'll wanna buy it one day.
Killer set man !!
Yep, I've got a three piece in white..... been looking for at least a 9x13 or a floor tom to complete/expand mine.
I don't have it set up right now, but I have some singles pics....
Which badge is on yours?
nice man.
its the WFL Keystone Badge with the words Wm. F Ludwig President around vent hole.
nice man.its the WFL Keystone Badge with the words Wm. F Ludwig President around vent hole.
Thanks, but nothing like yours.
Your badges go along with the date the Zephyrs point to.
Mine have the '48-'52 Keystone badge along with two other kits I know of.....
Speculating on WFL and Ludwig in the forties kinda equates to predicting Lottery numbers it seems.
I'm starting to believe though, that WFL manufactured a lot more sets with the Zephyr lugs than they actually shipped in '41 and '42, and they re-badged them as needed ?
