So is the idea here that if you make a donation to VDF you get a tag, because if it is then I like that idea. You can still offer them without any donation (you almost have to) but I think most people will get the idea. Of course it would be a limited time offer. Glenn, if you need some money for stamps let me know!
Thank you!

Yes indeed Tommy.... John was the artistic director of this project. Was great to have a true Pro help me out. John is a very humble guy and asked me not to make a fuss about his help. But there's just no way I could leave things unsaid after everything he's done.
Ken thanks glad you like them.
Hi Jeff. The tags are free for the asking. Way back when this started a few people wanted to contribute to help offset the costs. So I thought anyone that wanted to help do something could just made a donation to VDF. That was my main plan all along. It's totally up to them and not manditory by any means. As I know many people donate to VDF on a regular basis. I just wanted to give back something to a great group of people. Things have kind of slowed down. I only have 1 member so far for the mail this week. But maybe a few more will come in before I hit the post office again. Thanks for the stamps offer but I got this. Very nice of you though! Some unexpected car repairs have put the damper on a few purchases I had lined up!! But in time that'll all work out too. I can always print up some money next. :D

> I can always print up some money next.
I started out in the printing trade as a plate maker. One morning in the 70's I was busy burning plates for press when a half dozen guys in suits with guns drawn entered the shop shouting, "US Treasury Dept. Everybody freeze!" I was so scared I almost crapped my Calvin Klein's.
The print shop across the hall from us was being busted for producing counterfeit $10's and $20. dollar bills. The treasury agents found several dozen 55 gallon drums full of uncut sheets of phony cash. They closed down the building and they were going through every printing shop looking for plates, paper stock, inks, anything that could be tied to the counterfeit operation. I spent hours going through every plate in the shop until the agents were satisfied that our shop had no connection to the counterfeiters. The guys they busted across the hall were taken out in cuffs and chained to each other. They went away for a l-o-n-g time!
Just my counterfeiting story... it cured me from even thinking about it. And... every printer does think about it at least once in their career. It may be a pipe dream for others, but for some of the more talented guys in our trade, it's a very real temptation! One guy with the right inks, paper and a multilith press can print a lot of moola-boola in an eight hour shift! lol
John
Well John that is one heck of a story! Il bet you were scared, I would be too!
Thank you!
