You did rather well. The 4" drum - I've seen them go for $600 in good condition. Chris Whitten (Dire Straits, McCartney, Monster Beats drum DVD's) says his 4" Dandy was voted best by the studio at his last Monster Beats outing. The other one might once have been green sparkle. Thanks Trout, your great site supplied info from a productive era... when everything was hand built. I am stoked to know that I have a top shelf 4inch snare. Could you tell me the best heads for it? The basic 51/2 inch has also got an insane punch, warmth and tone which sings with my 26inch Ludwigs. I have looked for serial numbers with no avail. The 4inch has '27' and other has nothing. I have 2xtoms which has18/1/61...237 and other has 2438 D/D. I hope this is of interest and use pics if you want. [Attachment: 63253]
