Hi Dr. Wenk,

I'm restoring a post-lawsuit Slingerland 6.5x14 DuAll (full photos soon) and discovered something while cleaning the bottom rim...see photos...it seems that the letter "M" is stamped on both sides under the snare gates (2 Ms on one side and 1 M on the other). Then I noticed the same situation on the actual snare gates/guards; one has one M stamped on one side and the other has two Ms stamped on either side...Do you have any idea(s) what this is?
