Man, that Astro snare looks clean.

The silver sparkle kit appears to have a 14" ride tom(?).

I would like to see some pics of the other kits if that's possible.

$375??? Oh, man! get the Standard Astros!!

I'm thinking that would be a 13" ride tom but the bass drum is only a 20" so it makes it look bigger.

I'd go with the silver sparkle set, I've got a very similar set and am very content with it.

My vote goes for the Burgandy sparkle. Its a clubdate with an added tom, and it is kind of rare. Don't see clubdates very often in that finish. When the market comes back, you should be able to at least double your money.

I can't get pictures of the Red Sparkle and the WMP. The guy is to busy. But I have a feeling I can talk him down a few hundred dollars.

Yeah, the burgundy spkl IS nice. If you could get him to come down a couple hundred on that, then you could get BOTH the Astro AND the Burg Spkl. Play them both and see which one grooves you the most and then sell the other one. You can only profit! It sounds like you've tapped into some great prices on nice Ludwig kits. Whatever you decide, it's going to be a killing good deal!

I just can't get over that price on the Astros. Four flat base cymbal stands cost more than that!

If you're asking what the best deal is, I'd consider the red sparkle hollywood with matching snare for $800 (if the matching snare is a jazz fest and not a pioneer). If you're looking for the best kit as far as "cool factor" is concerned, I'd go with either the burgandy or silver sparkle.

If you are not going to resell then buy what you like best and can afford.
