I liked the blue set until I saw the name Trump on them. I refuse to play anything with that name! Violin
Cool, very ambitious pricing though.
That's what I thought. $400 per set? No thanks. Soap Box

Ha ha , me too!
I think 400.00 per is certainly top money, but not crazy overpriced.
Both kits look super clean and complete and the Trump kit has had a fresh re-wrap with quality material
I have paid two change plus the ship for kits missing resonant sides all around, along with other condition issues.
Then by the time I have gathered the right replacement parts and get them all cleaned up
I am easily up around three or three and a half.
Both the red and blue sparkle are common wraps, but they got that way by being popular selling originally. That means that for some nostalgic buyers no other colors will do. The red kit has to be worth at least three bills, and the blue with the Trump badges should easily attract some collectors, setting aside the current politics, those Trump badges with reference clearly toward card playing are pretty darned rare and in my view are very cool and unique.
Also the posting seems to imply that some wiggle room may be possible and that the four bills per is simply to start a negotiation with a serious perspective buyer.
The market has changed for these little antique kits the sellers are more educated as to the value, and they have become more viable and desired for a number of reasons with buyers.
